Joshua Tree House | 5 Miles to National Park – Best Joshua Tree Rental for Families
Source: booking.com Joshua Tree House – 5 Miles to National Park
My boyfriend and I stayed at the Joshua Tree house on a local’s recommendation and had a fantastic time. The rental has a convenient location just five miles from Joshua Tree National Park and close to downtown Joshua Tree.
We love this rental for its spacious interiors, which can easily accommodate up to eight people from its three bedrooms and bathrooms, plus a cozy living room and full kitchen. However, the real winner at this house was the outdoor spaces, which included a patio and garden with a gazebo seating area, ample outdoor furniture, and a BBQ grill to enjoy cooking and dining outdoors.
So book the Joshua Tree house for your next family getaway, as it’s the best rental. Here’s why you’ll agree:
- The spaces: The house is beautifully decorated indoors and outdoors, with a separate workspace in one room, a gorgeous sunroom, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, and a big yard with a fire pit, seating, and a garden.
- The amenities: The rental comes with complimentary linens, towels, toiletries, and basic cookware, plus Wi-Fi and air conditioning, a hammock, a fire pit, and grill in the outdoor space, and much more.
- The location: The rental is nearly within walking distance to the West Entrance of the Joshua Tree National Park and a short drive to Baker Dam, visitor centers, nearby canyons, lakes, and valleys.
We had a terrific time at this house and could hardly find fault with our stay. However, one small issue was with the mattress, as it wasn’t too comfortable.
Pros:
- The house is clean, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated.
- The hosts are friendly and responsive throughout your stay.
- There’s a stone fireplace, flatscreen TV, and smart TV in the living room.
- The home has all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay.
- The location is very private and secluded.
Cons:
- The queen bed mattresses were not very comfortable for two people.
Overall, we loved this home, and it’s one of the best rental properties in Joshua Tree for families and small groups.
Rockview House near Joshua Tree National Park – Best Rental for Couples

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at the Rockview House in Joshua Tree and had the best time. The rental property has an ideal location close to Joshua Tree National Park and minutes from downtown, museums, restaurants, and nearby small towns.
We enjoyed our time at this comfortable property, which has two bedrooms, a single bathroom, a kitchen and living area, and large windows in each room that let in natural light. The best part was the backyard, which had comfortable outdoor furniture, a clawfoot tub, and a grill for a delicious BBQ.
In addition, the hosts were friendly and responsive and ensured we had everything we needed for our stay.
So book the Rockview House for a couple’s getaway or small group meetup in Joshua Tree, as it’s one of the best. Here’s why:
- The amenities: The rental has a queen bed in the master, a full bed in the second bedroom, a full bathroom, a well-equipped kitchen, a flatscreen TV with streaming access in the living room, plus many books, board games, a vintage stereo and record player, a music library, a DVD player, and a guitar for entertainment.
- The outdoor spaces: The patio has a large dining set with an umbrella, a fire pit with seating, lounge chairs, a charcoal grill, and a clawfoot tub to entertain, dine and enjoy the outdoors.
- The comfort and convenience: The owners have put a lot of thought into making the rental feel special, with added facilities like a swamp cooler, complimentary toiletries, towels and linens, a hair dryer in the bathroom, wireless internet, and free pet access.
There’s absolutely everything you need in this rental and more, so we couldn’t find any negatives with it. The only small improvement would be having the swamp cooler see maintenance as it’s the main cooling source and could get super loud sometimes.
Pros:
- The home is clean, beautifully decorated, and well-maintained.
- The hosts are responsive and attentive to guest queries.
- There’s an old vintage record player and a large vinyl collection to enjoy music from.
- The rental is stocked with all the amenities you need and more.
- The home is close to the best Joshua Tree activities.
Cons:
- The swamp cooler could get very loud and wasn’t easy to turn down.
Overall, our time at the Rockview House was terrific, and we recommend it to small groups looking for a secluded rental in Joshua Tree.

Surrounded by nearly one hundred Joshua trees are the gorgeous Joshua Tree cabins, which is our favorite rental in the California desert area. This rental is a ten-minute drive to the National Park, plus Yucca valley and the Mojave Desert nearby, and within walking distance to downtown Joshua Tree, local shops, and restaurants.
We enjoyed our time at this rental, which has two bedrooms (the second bedroom is separate from the main house), a beautiful sun room with hammocks, a newly-appointed kitchen, and a lovely porch for taking in the desert views. We particularly enjoyed the Jacuzzi hot tub outdoors, which could fit many people, and the 100-year-old Joshua trees lining the rental.
In addition, the house is owned and hosted by Sara and Rich, who are terrific hosts and take great care of guests throughout their stay.
So book this Joshua Tree Airbnb, as it’s one of the best vacation rentals for couples and small groups in the area. Here’s why:
- The amenities: The rental sleeps 4 from its gorgeous bedrooms with fine linens, an old record player for music, swinging chairs in the living room, a fireplace, a well-stocked kitchen, many books and games to enjoy, and a special drip coffee with curated coffee beans from around the world.

- The attention to detail: The owners have put a lot of thought into making the rental feel special, with details like high-quality linens, many cozy nooks to enjoy reading and relaxing, a full kitchen with the basics, ample seating areas, and lots of privacy.
The only small issue we faced during our stay here was that we could hear cars all night from the road outside the rental, so it got loud. However, you can book the owner’s casita property to avoid this issue.
Pros:
- The rental is clean, well-maintained, and beautifully furnished.
- The hosts are friendly and attentive.
- The house has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay.
- The rental also has a casita property if you want a completely secluded rental in Joshua Tree.
- The rental is minutes from the best of what Joshua Tree has to offer.
Cons:
