My boyfriend and I recently stayed at the Ivory Gabel Cabin in Missouri for my birthday weekend and had the best time! The cabin is perfect for a romantic getaway, as it has a beautiful location tucked away in the woods, close to Springfield and Branson.

The cabin gives a quiet luxury feel with a combination of rustic and modern architecture, framed with log pillars, polished wood floors, modern decor, and a gorgeous covered patio space with great seating. 

We loved enjoying a coffee on the porch swing, cooking meals in the fully-equipped kitchen, binging movies on the flat-screen TV, or exploring the stunning natural scenery outdoors.

We could find virtually no faults with this cabin and had the best time. But some considerations would be to have the floors looked at since they’re very creaky, and the windows need coverings as it gets sunny quickly indoors.

• The floors creaked, and it was noisy moving around.
